There has been a steady stream of books this year that explore (and sometimes attack) various aspects of our food culture. Every one of the books listed below touch the issues of local food and sustainable food production in some way. In several cases, the books are in direct opposition to each other. I like that. It keeps me from becoming ideologically rigid. I am working on mini reviews of several of these, to be posted soon. Read them all!
